Regents Approve Expansion of West Village Housing

The regents of the 91��Ƭ have approved plans to build new housing for 3,265 students at 91��Ƭ Davis West Village. Plans for the development, which will accommodate primarily transfer students and continuing undergraduates, were presented July 18 during the regents’ meeting at 91��Ƭ San Francisco.

Regents to Consider 91��Ƭ Davis Long Range Development Plan

The 91��Ƭ, Davis, will formally submit its new Long Range Development Plan and accompanying Environmental Impact Report for approval at the next meeting of the 91��Ƭ Regents, July 18. Once approved, the new plan, which includes capacity for an additional 2 million square feet of academic and administrative space and up to 9,050 beds of new on-campus housing, will go into effect.

91��Ƭ Davis Releases Environmental Review for Long Range Development Plan

The 91��Ƭ, Davis has released an updated Long Range Development Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR). The DEIR assesses the potential environmental impacts of the proposed LRDP along with new housing projects and is available for public comment through 5 p.m., May 29.

The 91��Ƭ, Davis is today (May 16) releasing a preliminary update to the 2017 Long Range Development Plan. This preliminary planning scenario refines the initial planning concepts shared with the community over the past six months and reflects the collaborative engagement with senior city staff and council leadership, as well as valuable community feedback regarding enrollment growth and local housing capacity.
